Handicaps at FSC in 2019

All boats listed here submitted a Race Entry Form and signed the insurance declaration for 2019. As the 2019 season progresses the table will be revised to reflect changes. The Working Boat handicaps may be changed to reflect potential performance.

If a boat does not appear in the list, it may not be given a result.

Notes

  1. Some boats may sail in W and Q or U (though not in the same series).
  2. Alternate Ratings

  3. In the case of B and G classes, the first rating is the standard one which is used in racing.
  4. C class has two ratings, the first when they race as C class, but the second is used if only two or fewer turn out, when they sail with B on the alternate rating.
  5. For Q and U classes, the first rating is their IRC rating, the second is a Byron number. A few Q and U class boats do not have an IRC rating (marked as NC, No Certificate), and for some the Byron number is unknown.
  6. If a W class boat has an alternate rating, that rating is a YTC.
  7. One-designs

  8. V class is a one-design and the rating is the same for all members of the fleet.
  9. M class is effectively a one design, since the only multihulls which compete are Firebirds and the class wished to be scored on a 'first past the post' basis. Should any other multihulls race, the class will revert to its Mocra handicap, show here.
  10. NA

  11. If a rating is marked NA if it is Not Available or Not Applicable.
